As of 2024,

We have successfully organized and facilitated the redistribution of a little over $260,000 to 110 Black single mothers nationwide through our various ecosystems.

$220k

through Holiday
Love

Holiday Love provides lower-income Black single mothers $500 a month (for a total of $2000) to support them through the stressful holiday season.

$45k

through Summer
Camp Joy

Summer Camp Joy provides up to $3,000 to support Black single mothers with summer camp expenses for their children.

Resources, Group Coaching & Other Gifts Through The LBSM Dream Space

The LBSM Dream Space is a virtual place for Black single mothers to gather, commune, and find support around the shared experience of Black single motherhood.

From Our Ecosystems

  • “Having access to funds that came with ease allowed me a bit more space to create and be present. This ecosystem helped me find more peace and joy.”

    LBSM Program Participant

  • “Because of this program, I was able to keep up on my car payment that I just recently got. This is a higher car payment than usual. And I am so thankful that we still have our source of transportation and I'm able to pay this bill every month on time.”

    LBSM Program Participant

  • “My stress over spending on bills and items for my children decreased. Knowing that I had someone, albeit anonymous, to count on to assist me in my financial tasks, where I generally feel unsupported, was a valuable experience.”

Our
Future

Impact

In 2024,
Forever Flourishing, our ecosystem that provides a cohort of Black single mothers with a $30,000 Thriving Grant, will begin.

Forever Flourishing is an intimate year-long ecosystem that holds, deeply nourishes, and materially supports a cohort of Black single mothers.

We hold at the core that  Black single-mother-led families deserve to thrive and flourish.

We believe that Black single mothers and their children are more than worthy of being nourished, seen, supported, and financially sovereign.

We trust Black single mothers and deeply value their contributions, their wisdom, and their presence in our communities…always, all ways.
